Easter

At Easter, parents hide Easter eggs in the garden.
The children look for / hunt for the eggs.
Easter Monday is a bank holiday: there is no school!

At the diner

The scene takes place in Spring Diner.
Suzy comes from San Francisco but she lives now in Silver Spring. Suzy and Jerry are cousins, Mason is a friend of Jerry's.
Jerry is late.
Suzy would like a slice of apple pie and one scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
Jerry wants / will have a chocolate and walnut brownie with a strawberry milkshake.
Mason is not very hungry so he doesn't want anything to eat.
He would like to drink a 7-UP. Jerry and Suzy don't want anything to drink because they are not thirsty.

Spring Diner

This is the lunch menu from Spring Diner.

Chicken breast: white chicken meat (blanc de poulet)

Coleslaw is a salad of grated cabbage and carrots with mayonnaise.

Gravy: a brown sauce made with meat juices.

We see a brown bear, a red bird, a yellow duck, a blue horse, a green frog, a purple cat, a white dog, a black sheep, a goldfish, and a teacher looking at us. That's what we see.
