I can see a man, he is talking with his kid (US) / child (UK) under the bed. It's the first day back to school, in the morning.

The man wants his child to come out from under the bed and go to school.

The kid doesn't want to go to school because he/she hates school. He/She would rather play video games at home.

Day 1 - Grammar Checkpoint #1: les nombres
1) Télécharge les fiches Grammar Checkpoint 1. Colle Worksheet 2 dans ton cahier et fais les exercices d'entraînement à l'oral et à l'écrit puis corrige-toi avec le fichier audio (en attendant la vidéo).
 2) Colle la leçon Grammar Checkpoint #1 dans ton cahier et complète la en t'aidant de l'audio. Vérifie tes réponses avec le corrigé.
3) Pour aller plus loin: Regarde cette vidéo sur les grands nombres et chante!

Day 2 - The USA in numbers: compréhension orale

1) Revois les nombres dans ton cahier si tu en as besoin et fais l'exercice 1, puis fais l'activité sur Quizlet. 

2) Compréhension orale: Regarde cette vidéo et complète la fiche Worksheet 3. Vérifie tes réponses avec le corrigé.

3) Pour aller plus loin: Découvre les traditions de la St Patrick en Irlande et dans le monde. Have fun!

Day 3 - Vocabulary: Memory Challenge

1) Apprends le vocabulaire du Memory Challenge. Télécharge la fiche sur Pronote ou en dessous et colle-la dans ton cahier.

2) Ferme ton cahier et fais l'activité d'entraînement sur Quizlet et/ou entraîne-toi avec la feuille de test de ton choix (tu trouveras les différents tests à la suite du Memory Challenge).

3) Pour aller plus loin: Découvre qui était Johnny Appleseed !

1) Révise le vocabulaire du Memory Challenge dans ton cahier. Si tu as perdu la feuille, tu peux la télécharger (voir dessous) et la coller dans ton cahier.
2) Ferme ton cahier et fais au moins une des activités d'entraînement sur Quizlet et/ou entraîne-toi avec la feuille de test de ton choix (tu trouveras les différents tests à la suite du Memory Challenge).
3) Pour aller plus loin: Découvre les traditions de la St Patrick en Irlande et dans le monde. Have fun!

Day 2: Grammar checkpoint #2 Le comparatif

1) Regarde les vidéos (Grammar checkpoint #2) et/ou lis la leçon dans le livre p. 142-143

2) 4B, 4D, 4E: Recopie la leçon et complète l'arbre de décision sur le comparatif dans ton cahier. Vérifie tes réponses avec le corrigé. 

       4C: Complète ton arbre de décision avec les informations manquantes sur les adjectifs qui se terminent en consonne, voyelle, consonne).

3) Pour aller plus loin: Regarde cette vidéo sur les différences entre les écoles américaines et françaises.

Day 3: Grammar practice

1) Revois les vidéos ou la leçon dans le livre et dans ton cahier si tu en as besoin puis fais les activités LearningApps.

2) Roll a sentence: lance un dé et écris des phrases en utilisant le comparatif. Écris les phrases dans ton cahier. N'hésite pas à relire et à te corriger en utilisant ton arbre de décision!

3) Pour aller plus loin: Découvre qui était Johnny Appleseed !

Vérification: Envoie-moi une photo de ton cahier avec ta leçon de grammaire et tes 5 phrases (au moins) écrites en dessous.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Today Irish people around the world are celebrating St Patrick's Day.

St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. He was born around 385 AD, and he died on March 17th, 461 AD.
According to the legend, he delivered Ireland from the snakes. This means that he converted the Irish people to christianity. The snakes represent the evil pagans.






On this day, people wear green clothes and parade in the streets. They also wear some of the symbols of Ireland, such as the shamrock or a leprechaun's top hat, and they wave Irish flags.

They drink Irish beer like Guiness and they eat the traditional meal of bacon and cabbage.

In Dublin (the capital of Ireland), the festival lasts for 5 days!
In Chicago, they colour the river in green for the occasion!
